  • 1 cup almonds flour (finely ground almonds and/​or pulp)
  • 12 cup hazel­nut flour (finely ground hazel­nuts)
  • 12 cup cocoa pow­der
  • 12 Tbsp. Java Teec­cino grounds*
  • 14 cup date paste
  • sprin­kling of cin­na­mon
  • pinch of sea salt
  • finely ground coconut for rolling

In a bowl, whisk together the almond flour, hazel­nut flour, cocoa pow­der, Teec­cino, cin­na­mon and sea salt. Add the date paste, and mix to com­bine. The mix­ture should be damp enough to mold, yet still crumbly like a cake.

*Java Teec­cino is a herbal caffeine-​​free cof­fee, it can be either omit­ted or replaced in this recipe with maca - by authors’ per­mis­sion..Sounds fair enough to us, as one of our favorite super­foods (it’s one of those things you feel you’ve always missed when you taste them for the first time)
